Conditions of sale and of this website
-No picture or text contained within this website may be copied and
reused for another purpose without written permission of Becca Gauldie directly. Any permission given to reprint or republish
photos etc is given on the assumption that full credit for its use will be given for that permission if used in print or for
descriptive purposes.
-All payments must have cleared our account before an item will be
shipped. An item is still owned by Becca Gauldie Antiques until full payment has been received and this includes
the right to resell if full payment is not received within reasonable time.
-No item will
be sent before payment, under any circumstances.
-All payments must be in UK sterling.
-If you choose
an item to be uninsured, we cannot be responsible for non delivery. We always get a proof of posting from the post office.
We will, of course, help in any way we can to help you find a lost uninsured item, but we will not refund in these circumstances.
We will always quote in the first instance for insured transportation.We cannot be held responsible for an item damaged in
transit, however we will process a claim for you with Royal Mail or the carrier, except in exceptional circumstances we are
not able to refund.
-If an item is to be shipped directly by us, please wait until we
can confirm a cost before adding postage.
-If paying by creditcard, we may have to make a charge in line with
our costs, this will be explained clearly to you and agreed by you before any money is
taken from you. We apologise for this, but even large hotel chains are now forced to do this. For a UK
debit card we make no charge.
-Payment can take ten working days to clear our account. This is crazy and annoying,
but we cannot do anything about it. The moment the money is in our bank account, the item will be shipped.
Returns-
We always do our best to describe any item to the best of our abilities. and take great
pride in our honesty. Restoration or damage is ALWAYS pointed out. However, if you can honestly find a fault of some
kind in our description when the goods arrive, please email us immediately. A return must arrive with us in the condition
it left us and be returned within seven days of your having received it. Remember, we are always very happy to answer any
number of questions in advance of a purchase.(except ones about giving you the item for free!)
