A Scottish Antique Bicker or treen drinking vessel.
A small Scottish Antique bicker, or two handled drinking vessel of two woods with feathered joints.

These were made by Scottish Tinkers or travelling people and so were of found wood or hedgerow.
Often they weren't sold but exchanged for food or clothing.

Although the feathered joints are strong, it is additionally strengthened by the willow binding that circles it.

Virtually impossible to date, but most probably the middle part of the 19th century.

Unique to Scotland.

Of particularly small size- 9.5cm handle to handle and 5cm high.
