A Large Antique Scottish Spongeware bowl in four colours circa 1880.
The
pattern is of a repeating nest of chickens, which repeats four times around the outside. There is a border of upside down
Shamrocks and one mustard line to the interior rim.
The bowl curves slightly outward.

The bowl has a very little crazing, this is reflected in the price. There is also a tiny hairline,
as photographed below, just above the shamrock on the rim.

Diameter is approx. 23 cm and the height is 14 cm.
